The Sand series of bowls are some of my most treasured bowls. Simple, but each one with a tale to tell, influences by a set of photographs taken on one remarkable day in October 2022, on Rock beach (shown on my Home Page). The clay used for each ‘sand series’ bowl contains sand from Rock beach, and the glazes depict the many different colours of the estuary.
